We are registered at Target and Cook's Emporium 313 Main St. Ames. We would also appreciate gifts suitable for new home owners or cash towards the down payment of a home.

Ceremony

Saint John's by the Campus

We will be getting married at Saint John's by the Campus Episcopal church Saturday, May 2nd starting at 3:00 PM. St. John's is being very nice allowing us to perform the ceremony in their beautiful sanctuary with our Lutheran pastor . Our plan is to make a cash gift to the church as a thank you for their hospitality.

Reception

Moose Lodge #520

The reception will be held at the Moose Lodge #520 after the ceremony starting around 5:00 PM. Dinner will be catered by Smokin' G's, owened and operated by the groom's cousin, Jerry Gratopp.

Accommodations

Memorial Union Hotel

We reserved a block of rooms at the Memorial Union Hotel. The hotel is located within walking distance of the church (one block) and is on the beautiful Iowa State campus. The Union also houses the student recreation center that includes a bowling alley and pool tables. There is lots of great food avaialbe in campustown, which is a short walk away. This block consists mostly rooms with a single queen bed. There are a few suites and all the rooms are non-smoking. Parking in the ramp is included with your stay.
